Cigarettes Troupe – GENERAL DE GAULLE

Full soft pack of 25 French Army troop cigarettes from wartime with a Canadian tax stamp. Both sides feature an image of General de Gaulle in front of the Cross of Lorraine, the symbol of the Free French Forces during WWII, along with the inscription «25 CIGARETTES LÉGÈRES GENERAL DE GAULLE». During WWII, Canada provided extensive support to the Free French Forces, including supplies like cigarettes, distributed to French troops under Free French leadership.
