Domino – 1943 Armed Forces

Full soft pack of 20 cigarettes with craft paper inner wrapping, cellophane wrapper and a free of tax stamp on the top which was added to cigarette packs that had the tax paid by the manufacturer for shipment overseas to the Armed Forces during WWII. With the wording «Free of Tax. Use of U.S." July 1943». On the reverse side, the pack features an integrated printed note that reads: «Somewhere in Northern Ireland, Red Tobacco Co., Richmond, Va. Gentlemen: For the last 4 months I have been smoking Domino Cigarettes. I just received my ration from an Army Canteen over here in Northern Ireland. I think that every man in the Army today appreciates a mild cigarette such as Domino. Yours truly».
