KW – Jerrycan

German petrol lighter produced by KW (Karl Wieden), styled after a Wehrmacht jerrycan with the distinctive pressed-steel «X» pattern on its sides. The front is stamped «Kraftstoff 20L», «Feuergefährlich»  and «1939», echoing the markings found on fuel cans carried by German forces during the WWII. Below appears the manufacturer’s logo «Schwelm,» referencing the Westphalian town where original Wehrmacht fuel containers were produced.
