Heston Mc Mann used both a Zippo as well as a Ronson Standard lighter, which has various engravings: his initials, his service number «32713080», the combat unit «Co. A 803 M.P. Bn.» in which he served, the stations «Napoli», «Bagnoli» and «Roma» and the years «1944» and «1945».
