U.S. Navy «U.S.S. Hancock» – «Goose»

Between 1965 and 1969, USS Hancock (CVA-19) conducted multiple Western Pacific and Vietnam combat deployments, operating primarily in the Gulf of Tonkin as part of Task Force 77. In 1968, the carrier played an active role during and after the Tet Offensive, launching sustained air strikes against North Vietnamese targets and providing continuous naval aviation support to U.S. and allied forces throughout one of the conflict’s most intensive periods.
