Original U.S. WWII invasion armband, made of coated oilcloth with a printed American flag and multiple adjustment holes. Unlike the standard version, the flag on this example has been deliberately struck through, as the armband was intended to be worn with the reverse side facing outward, where it is marked «POLICE» and «Allied Expeditionary Force».
