Included with field meals to maintain morale, these packs also featured gum, matches, and toilet paper. Cigarettes were phased out by 1971 and officially removed from rations in 1972 due to health concerns.

Full soft pack of 20 cigarettes with inner foil wrapping, cellophane wrapper and a Korean tax stamp on the top. The front shows portraits of a Korean statesman and U.S. President Lyndon B. Johnson beneath the flags of South Korea and the United States, surrounded by a laurel wreath. It is printed in Korean and English «WELCOME TO KOREA» and «The President of the United States of America and Mrs. Lyndon B. Johnson».
This pack commemorates the U.S. presidential visit to South Korea on 31 October 1966, linked to the U.S. – South Korean alliance during the Vietnam War. South Korea was a key military ally of the United States and deployed large troop contingents to support operations in South Vietnam.
The bottom is marked «SINTANJIN» and the top features a floral emblem with «CIGARETTES / OFFICE OF MONOPOLY».
